Altos Research & Wise Agent Integration
Integrating your Wise Agent CRM is easy! You’ll just need access to your Wise Agent API key to connect with your Altos Research account with your Wise Agent database.
Send your Wise Agent contacts to Altos Research. Click here for step by step instructions on how to access your Wise Agent API key. Once you have your API key saved, simply determine what category (or categories!) of your Wise Agent contacts you’d like to be sent to your Altos Research account. You can specify which campaign email each category is assigned to and Altos will send out reports on your behalf!

How to set up the Altos Research and Wise Agent Integration:
Wise Agent customers can use the Altos/Wise Agent API to send new contacts to the Altos system, to be added to Altos’ automated email campaigns - these are the emails the Altos system sends to your contacts every week with your latest market reports.
Integrating your Wise Agent CRM is easy! You’ll just need access to your Wise Agent API to
connect and save. You’ll then determine what category (or categories!) of contacts you’ll like to
be sent to your Altos Research account. You can determine what campaign email a category is
assigned to and Altos will send out reports on your behalf! Want leads that come into your
Altos account to be sent to Wise Agent? Great, determine what category they should be
assigned to and enable the “Send Data from Altos Research to Wise Agent” for “On Contact
Create” and “On Contact Updated”.
You can also use the API to send Altos contacts back to the Wise Agent CRM. To set up the integration follow the steps below:
- Log into your Altos Research account.
- Click your name in the top right corner and choose INTEGRATIONS from the dropdown menu.
- Select the Wise Agent logo.

Enter your Wise Agent API key into the field and click “Save API Key”

If you’d like leads from Altos to be added to your Wise Agent account, click the first “Select” button. Determine what category you’d like to assign the leads and click “Save.” Make sure it is an exact match to a category within Wise Agent.

If you’d like contacts to come from Wise Agent to Altos, click on the second “Select”. Determine what category (or categories) of contacts you’d like to have imported and define what campaign should be assigned (or utilize the default). For example, a category might be “Sellers” and you want them assigned to the “Sellers Campaign”. Use the + button to add additional categories.

For the functionality to work, under “Settings” be sure to toggle “On” the appropriate contact function. You can send notes to Wise Agent contact details for report and campaign assignments and events
Report Delivery Tip
For a contact to receive anything, they must be assigned at least one location. Altos will make its best effort to determine a location of interest by seeking an address field but is not always successful.
To ensure everyone receives a report, try one of the following techniques:

Choose a Default Report. This will automatically assign everyone at LEAST that one report. In many cases, a county report is desired. To set up an account default report, find the location of interest and check the box to the left of the location name. Click on “Options” above the list of reports and select “Make Default for New Contacts”
- Periodically Use Contact Filter. To be sure contacts don’t sit in the contact database too long without receiving reports, log in and use the sort function under the Contacts tab. Use the Locations Filter and sort by “without”. This will list all contacts without a location assignment. You can then assign them a location, either one by one or by group by selecting the box next to their name(s). Just click “Options” and “Assign Reports.”
