- On your computer, sign in to the Gmail account you want to import to.
- In the top right, click Settings > See all settings.
- Click the Accounts tab.
- In the "Check mail from other accounts" section, click Add a mail account.
- Type the email address of the other account, then click Next.
- Make a selection and click Next.
- Type your password.
- Recommended: Check the boxes next to the options below:
- Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail
- By keeping this option checked, you ensure that your email communications are encrypted, reducing the risk of unauthorized access to your emails.
- Leave a copy of retrieved messages on the server
- Be sure to mark the checkbox to retain copies of retrieved messages on the server. Failing to do so could lead to the deletion of emails from your alternate account, restricting access solely to Gmail.
- Label incoming messages
- Mark this box if you wish to conveniently identify emails in your inbox originating from this account.
- Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail
- Click Add Account.
If You Are Receiving an Error:
"Server denied POP3 access"
- If you use 2-Step Verification: Enter a new app password.
- If you're using a work or school account: In the "POP Server" section, enter mail.domain.com, then select Port 110.
- If you use Google MX records with your work account: In the "POP Server" section, enter pop.gmail.com, then select Port 995.
- If you still can't sign in, try turning on access to less secure apps. You might also need to turn off your security code or distorted text.
"I'm getting a different error"
Click Show error details, then follow these tips:
- If POP is disabled, go to the settings page of your other email account and look for a way to enable POP.
- If POP is unavailable, your email provider might not support POP. Instead, follow the steps below to import old messages, then auto-forward new ones.

To Connect Google Conversations with Wise Agent:
- From the sidebar, select "Integrations" and choose "Settings."
- Select the section titled "Google Gmail Conversations."
- Click on "Sign in with Google" to proceed to a new login page.
- If you're already logged into Gmail, you can directly select the desired account.
- To access Gmail conversations, go to your client's contact summary page and click on "Gmail" from the menu, that's it!
